Telehealth FAQs Menspro Health
What is telehealth at Menspro?
Telehealth allows you to meet with a licensed Menspro Health provider online using secure video or digital communication. You can review symptoms, complete an evaluation, discuss lab results, and begin treatment if medically appropriate.
Do I have to come into the clinic at all?
Not always.
Many patients begin care through telehealth. However, some treatments require lab work and, in certain cases, an in-person visit depending on your medical history and state regulations.
Your provider will tell you exactly what is required.
Do I need lab work before starting testosterone therapy?
Yes.
Testosterone therapy requires lab testing to evaluate hormone levels and overall health markers. Ongoing monitoring is also required to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Lab work helps us treat the root cause, not guess.
Can I get ED medication through telehealth?
If medically appropriate, yes.
Your provider will review your health history and determine whether ED medication is safe for you. Some patients may require labs or additional evaluation before a prescription is issued.
How long does the telehealth visit take?
Most initial visits take 15 to 30 minutes.
Follow-up visits are often shorter.
The process is straightforward and focused.
Is telehealth secure?
Yes.
Menspro Health uses HIPAA-compliant platforms designed to protect your personal health information. While no system is completely risk-free, reasonable safeguards are in place to protect your privacy.
Is telehealth covered by insurance?
Coverage varies by plan.
Menspro Health can review your options and explain pricing before you begin treatment so there are no surprises.
What if I am not a candidate for treatment?
If your provider determines treatment is not appropriate, you will be advised accordingly. In some cases, you may be referred for in-person care or additional evaluation.
Patient safety comes first.
What if I need emergency care?
Telehealth is not appropriate for emergencies.
If you are experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath, severe symptoms, or any medical emergency, call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room.
